About Coffee World
From 1984 Coffee World has been importing only the finest green coffee beans from farms throughout the world, hand-roasting them to produce the finest coffees. We are dedicated to providing our customers with the richest coffee experience.

As a strong run family business, we are aware that our success depends entirely upon our customer's confidence in our quality coffees. Therefore we pay close attention to your coffee every step of the way.

We also have the very best range of coffee machines and accessories, which we have hand-picked over many years of experience in the coffee industry.

A Short Story
Once upon a time in 1984 Ali Aboukhshem founded Coffee World. It all started in a small shop in Magdalane Street, in Cambridge. With a 500g roaster he started roasting in the shop window. The aroma of the freshly roasted coffee brought people from afar.

In 1988, after 3 successful years he was unable to cope with the demand, Ali decided to sell the shop and expand by selling wholesale, he moved into a small industrial premises where he had a 8 kg Probat coffee roaster.

In 1996 Ali visited his in-laws in Milan Italy, where he was lucky enough to visit one of Italy’s largest coffee roasting plants, this inspired him to find a larger coffee roaster for his premise back in Cambridge. While searching in Milan, he came across a 26kg Probat coffee roaster which he shipped back to Cambridge.

With many years of studying coffee, blending and roasting Ali successfully produced many blends. Coffee World moved from strength to strength.

In 2004 Nasar, Ali’s son joined the business and quickly learnt the trade. Other than roasting, Nasar trained on service and repair of coffee machines, this added strength to the business.

In 2010 we upgraded our coffee roaster to a Vittoria 60kg coffee roaster where we now roast up to 2000kg per day.
